How Good Friendship Is Good Or Bad - 892 Words

How could one tell if a friendship between two people will be good or bad? Friendship is based on a strong interpersonal bond between two or more people. Everyone would like to have a good friendship, but there are friendships that are just no good. Friendships are never perfect, but when having a bad friend it can cause suffering to the people involved in the friendship. When a person is causing pain to someone they call ‘friend’ then it makes one think if this is truly what they want to continue with or see if it can be fixed. For a bad friendship a number of things that contribute to it. Three things that constitute a bad friendship is someone who is manipulative, a liar and one who peer pressure. When trying to detect if a friendship is bad it can be very difficult, manipulation is one of the personality traits a person may have in as a bad friend. Manipulation effects not only the person being used, but others around them. I have seen people manipulated before and it does nothing but hurt everyone. She was the sweetest person, she was friendly to all, but when she started to hang out with the new girl everything changed. Hailey would greet everyone in the morning, but then all of that stopped one morning, when I noticed that the new girl, Kayla kept her from doing this. Kayla would always ask Hailey to go and get something for her or make her help pay for her things. This is what a manipulator does because they do not know how to be nice and make friends.
